Two Day Forensic Entomology Training
This two day course is intended for forensic professionals including law enforcement, crime scene investigators, medical examiners, and coroners. This hands on training includes lecture, laboratory and field components covering basic insect identification, evidence collection, preservation and shipping. It is approved for CEUs through the International Association of Identification (IAI) and the American Board of Medical Death Investigators (ABMDI). Additionally, completion of this course allows the individual to sit for the American Board of Forensic Entomology Technician Certification Exam.

Cold Case Symposium
Dr. Lauren Weidner and Dr. Krystal Hans of Purdue University co-founded and organized the first Cold Case Symposium held at Arizona State University in 2022. This national event highlights cold case awareness and advocacy. The event has run annually since its inauguration and has since partnered with Project Cold Case.
